Child Development Center NAVFAC
The new Child Development Center is a child-friendly, modern, functional and efficient building. The project is LEED Silver Certified, and was designed specifically to keep in mind both the children and nature. The building is sited to preserve a signature 50-inch oak tree. Within the facility, one finds various spaces that sculpt the learning environment. Classrooms are designed to evoke a sense of security, to support exploration, and to enable children to engage in focused, self-directed play.
