Tennessee Concrete Headquarters
The Tennessee Concrete Association (TCA) sought the design for a new headquarters building that could convey a progressive image, representative of the concrete industry in Tennessee. The building is broken into two simple masses; a long, slender office form that parallels the street and a concrete box positioned near the southeast corner to address a busy intersection. The design achieved the client’s desire for a structure conveying the universal qualities of concrete: subtlety, heaviness, and the ability to age beautifully.
