The moving company was in need of a fresh and progressive image for itself, which is why they decided to renovate their existing office/warehouse facility. The design goal is to generate a better working environment and enhance the performance of the building and its inhabitants. Efficiency and communication are boosted through the design of an organized office layout, and the exterior modifications will not only enhance the performance of the existing building, but also reflect the forward-thinking spirit of this thriving company. The new office layout is delineated by paths that are determined by the location of existing window/wall openings to assure unobstructed natural light. A main corridor serves as a linking element and gathering space lined by a row of six light-directing, planar elements that bring natural light to the ground level via skylights and floor openings above.
