Devin Carr, Associate AIA

Devin Carr, Assoc. AIA has been with the firm since 2018. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Devin has spent time traveling across the American West road tripping, working for the national park service at Glacier National Park, and exploring the coast of California. His experiences studying abroad in Rome, Italy and his many adventures throughout Southern Europe to this day inform his understanding of how architecture can have a fiction outside of construction.
Whether working with his hands in the dirt on trails in Montana, or sanding children's chairs for hours at a studio in Jackson, MS, he has developed an appreciation for process and detail. This foundation has led to his meticulous approach to design, often found around the studio working through solutions on an ever evolving stack of tracing paper. Devin has worked on a variety of typologies including Girls Inc. Patricia C. Howard Campus, Youth Villages Shelby Oaks, and Tennessee Shakespeare Company.
When Devin is not working toward his license, he is fostering dogs through Streetdog Foundation, biking the Wolf River trail or grilling brats.
